-Professor Hanan Mohamed Ismail Youssef Dean of College of Language and Communication (CLC), Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT)- Smart Village, Giza, Egypt Chair and CEO of Arab Organization for Dialogue & International Cooperation (ADICO), Egypt Professor of Mass Media & Communication, Ain Shams University, Egypt Professional Profile: Hanan Youssef is an Egyptian Professor of Mass Media and Communication, the founder of the College of Language and Communication (CLC) at Arab academy for science and technology and maritime on Smart Village Campus, and the founder of the Arab Organization for Dialogue & International Cooperation (NGOs is interested with spreading dialogue values thorough media, culture and education by holding seminars and symposiums on mass media communication, culture ..etc). She also serves as the ambassador of international peace for the international organization of women and peace and is a activist in Arab media issues, socio-political dialogue, and education and media investment in Egypt and the Arab and Western worlds. She is acknowledged as one of the most prominent Egyptian media figures who contributed, through her diverse activities and research endeavors, to the Arab and international mediascape. She is internationally renowned for improving the stereotypical image of Arab Muslim women and is the first to launch a project in this regard in 2016 through a manifesto presented to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Elsisi. Her strategic plan has been wisely considered and put into effect through multiple meetings at Itihadeya Palace. She has been given several awards, the most recent of them is the Atwar Bhagat Award from Baghdad (2021) for the best media woman in Egypt . Hanan Youssef is a distinguished visiting professor in several Egyptian, Arab, and international universities in many countries, namely the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Libya, and Lebanon. She delivered several influential speeches and presentations in over 500 scientific and cultural symposia organized in Egypt and overseas. She is the founder of the Media Center at Ein Shams University and served as the media and communication consultant to the President of Ein Shams University. She obtained her Master’s and PhD degrees from the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, Egypt. She is an active member and a fellow of several international associations and leagues in Egypt, the Arab world, and other countries around the world. In her academic career, she contributed to the community of media scholars with several renowned publications and works that have stimulated and guided graduate students specialized in the multiple disciplines of mass media and communication. Over the years, she supervised hundreds of Master’s and PhD dissertations that tackled pressing national and international media and communication issues. She also supervised the media production of newspapers, magazines, documentary films, and advertising campaigns developed her undergraduate students in Ein shams University and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. For her accomplishments in political communication and mass media in the Arab World, with a clear mission and vision, she has been given several scholarly and professional awards of excellence for her distinguished contributions in several national and international events.
