Smart Environment for Elderly and Disabled Users

Funded Project
Start Date : 01 Jan 2015-01 Jan 2015
The main idea of the project is to have a wheeled chair which is may be operated with joystick Voice commands. This wheel chair will maneuver and navigate in the Handicap environment such as “House”. The house will be intelligently operated to execute the user’s commands using voice eye gazing. For example, to be alerted with the vital activates of the user (waking up, Heart Attack), be aware with the hazard situations (Gas leakage, fire….) and to execute the proper solution and inform the local authority (GSM commands). In addition to, the wheelchair, which is a part of the environment it will be able to navigate in the house without colliding with any obstacle.
