Biography

  • Tarek Elsayed is currently a Professor in the department of Marine Engineering at AASTMT. He has obtained his MSc in Ocean Engineering from the University of Connecticut and his PhD in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. Prior to joining AASTMT, he has worked in the industry for companies like Herbert Engineering Corp., in San Francisco, Weathernews Inc. in Sunnyvale, and the American Bureau of Shipping ABS, in Houston Texas.
