Biography

  • Dr Sara Elgazzar is the head of logistics of international trade department and she is an Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Finance at Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport - College of International Transport and Logistics. She currently teaches Finance courses in the MBA program and in the BSc program. She is currently the Program Coordinator of the EU-Mediterranean logistics projects. Dr Elgazzar holds a BSc degree in Business Administration and MBA degree in finance from The Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport. She holds a Diploma in International Transport and Logistics from The Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport in cooperation with Molde University, Norway. Dr Elgazzar obtained a PhD in Supply Chain Finance from the University of Huddersfield in the UK. Dr Elgazzar participated in a number of consultancy projects for the Arab and region. She has published and reviewed several research papers in international journals and conferences in the areas of Finance and Supply Chain. Dr Elgazzar's current research focuses on supply chain financial management and supply chain performance.
