Biography

  • Ammar Alhosainy received the B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. degrees in communications engineering from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology (AAST), Alexandria, Egypt, in 2006 and 2009, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the Department of Systems and Computer Engineering, Carleton University, Ottawa, ON, Canada, in 2017. He is currently a Post-Doctoral Researcher with the Department of Systems and Computer Engineering, Carleton University. His current research interests include wireless communications, sensor networks, and optimization techniques.

    Dr. Alhosainy has received several awards and scholarships, including the Carleton University Graduate Scholarship, the Gabriel Warshaw Award, and Queen Elizabeth II and Ontario Graduate Scholarships.
