Biography

  • Ghada Elkot is a professor in HR and OB at Graduate School of Business, at Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AAST-MT), Egypt. She is a consultant, a researcher and a reviewer in the HR and OB field. Her main research interests focus on team working in the Egyptian context and investigating the HRM practices with its effects on organisational culture. She earned her PhD from University of Plymouth, UK 2001. She received an outstanding paper award from Emerald on one of her researches on 2011 in a topic: Work engagement among managers and professionals in Egypt: potential antecedents and consequences. She is a visiting professor at Plymouth Business School. She has lots papers in the HR and OB field published in international Journals. She is one of Arab Administrative Development organisation expert. She did lots of consultation and provided lots of training programs as a trainer to many organisations in Egypt, Arab countries and Europe. She was working as a Dean of Graduate School of Business till March 2014 and she is working as Dean of Research at AAST-MT till Feb. 2015. From Feb.2015 till now she is working as Deputy President for Strategic Affairs at AAST-MT.
