Biography

  • I have been working at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology (Alexandria, Egypt) as an instructor of ESP (English for Specific Purposes) from February 2009 till present. Due the diverse student community in the Arab Academy, I have dealt with students from different Arab and African countries. I have taught ESP in the colleges of Engineering, Maritime, Logistics and Computer Science. I have also worked as an academic coordinator, this means being responsible for setting exams, quizzes and preparing teaching materials to be taught and an ISO coordinator, responsible for paperwork related to students’ marks, course files and students’ attendance.

I earned my BA from Alexandria University, Faculty of Arts, English department in Linguistics and Translation in 2008. I am currently working on my Masters degree. I received a Fulbright scholarship as an Arabic FLTA for the academic year 2013 -2014 in Boston University, MA, USA.

I enjoy reading, drawing and learning about different cultures.
