Biography

  • Mohamed Abaza received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) (Cairo, Egypt) in 2009 and 2012, respectively. He received a Ph.D. degree from the Universite de Bretagne Occidentale -UBO (Brest, France) in 2015. From 2009 to 2012, he was a teaching assistant in AASTMT. From December 2012 till August 2015, he was a research assistant at Sensor Networks and Cellular Systems (SNCS) Research Center, Tabuk, KSA. Currently, he is an assistant professor at AASTMT. He is an author of a book, 6 international journals and 5 international conferences. He serves as a reviewer for IEEE, SPIE, OSA, Elsevier and Hindawi Communication Society's journals. His current research interests include multiple input multiple-output systems, relay-assisted cooperative communications and optical wireless communications.
