Fund and Projects

• “Research Center for Computational Neurovascular Biomechanics (RCCNB)”, The Science and Technology Development Fund (STDF) of the Ministry of State for Scientific Research has approved on a research grant of L.E 9 million for supporting the establishment of a Research Center of Scientific Excellence specialized in Computational Neurovascular Biomechanics during the next two years, where this center will be the first research center of its kind in the Middle East and the Arab world, and this financial support is funded by STDF which is a government program that support the establishment of Centers of Scientific Excellence, as it’s worth to mention that the new center is initiated by the following 3 Scientists from Alexandria University and AASTMT: 1- Prof. Dr. Tamer Hassan Shehata - Professor of Neurosurgery - Alexandria University Faculty of Medicine. 2- Prof. Dr. Amr Ali Hassan - Head of Marine Engineering Department - AASTMT College of Engineering and Technology. 3- Dr. Khaled Mohi ElDeen Saqr - AASTMT Mechanical Engineering Department - Visiting Lecturer.
