Objectives

An integral part of the programs for Sea Training is thepractical knowledge that students gain by actual workexperience. A major component of the programs forSea Training is learning by doing.The cadet has the ability to provide a lot of experiencein the shortest possible time the cadets are requiredto learn fast and across a wide syllabus. They mayhave accumulated theoretical knowledge in the basicstudies in the first four academic semesters, but thiswill be their first opportunity to see the same workedout in practice and applied to the reality of ship'soperations.
