The training ship 'Aida IV' is a sailing school ofnavigation. At sea, the lecturers teach coastal andcelestial navigation, meteorology, regulations forpreventing collisions at sea, practical seamanship, watchduty, ship technology, engine theory, etc. The cadetsare trained in important aspects such as apprenticetraining, maritime safety, first-aid, and fire fighting. Whenthe training ship 'Aida IV' is at sea, you have a 10 to12 hours' working day distributed on watch duty andon deck training. The cadets will follow a set trainingsyllabus designed to provide them with the necessaryexperience, and to give them the opportunity toparticipate in everything that is done aboard ship.
