Automatic Hand-Washer/Dryer

Unlike the principle of reverse engineering, and for the purpose of showing the creative abilities of the Egyptian minds the field of Engineering sciences recruitment to produce a national product and technology for exporting, localizing technology, facilitate the daily life and adding more luxury, this system was designed to automatically pump water onto hands in front of the tap for washing and the flow of water continues for five seconds until the hands are wet with water completely, after which s of liquid soap are pumped from the same tap opening leaving a time period of seven seconds for the user to work on the distribution of soap on the hands and the production of foam required to remove the dirt, then water is pumped again for the next fifteen seconds to rinse the hands of soap, and finally flowing hot air from the tap hole to dry hands and that’s for fifteen seconds. During the operation of the system, indicative messages appear on a digital screen installed within the body of the mirror showing the remaining time for each phase. One major advantage of that system is the saving in water consumption, in addition to reducing the time of use. Sensors were used in this system along with a central processor programmed to control a set of electrical valves for the implementation of the program, which is chosen according to the timing specified in advance.

The system is equipped with a touch button beneath the mirror to prevent water leak in case of wet hands, which changes the operating program showing the program’s name on a digital screen on top of the mirror. There are 3 options to choose from:
Program I : water + soap + air dryer
Program II: water + air dryer
Program III: air dryer only
