• Design, develop and manage the Egyptian Maritime Databank (since 1996) which is the first specialized databank for maritime transport in the Middle East, Africa, and the Arab world.

The study investigated the status of major and sub-major Saudi seaports located on the Red-sea and the Arabian Gulf. The objective of the study was to evaluate the competitiveness of Saudi ports and accordingly formulating a set of recommendations for improving the performance of Saudi ports.
