Diploma in Computer Science

THE DEGREE

This Diploma  is  a two years degree offered generally to non IT candidates who need to become CS professionals. This Diploma is a perquisite degree for those who need to apply for Master Degree in CS fields and their first University degree is not related to CS.

ADMISSION

Applicant to the  Diploma in CS must hold a University degree from Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, or from any of the corresponding recognized and accredited universities.

• Copy of passport or identification card
• Financial Plan (if sponsored)
• Filled Application Form
• 4 recent personal photos

REGISTRATION

accomplished according to schedules and procedures established by the College of Computing and Information Technology. Course registration takes place before or within the first week of the semester. Regular registration for each student is 12 credit hours per semester. Student can register maximum of 15 credit hours in a semester upon the approval of his/her academic advisor.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

The student should successfully complete 16 graduate courses (48 credit hours) before graduation with a minimum accumulated GPA of 2.0.

Note:

Any course is equivalent to THREE Credit Hours
