This course introduces students to the architecture and design of game engines. It covers practical and engineering aspects, tools, and common techniques used throughout the lifecycle of games engine development. Students learn how to design game levels, playtests, and multi-media assets. The course covers a broad range of topics relevant to Game Design such as computer graphics, artificial intelligence, digital video and audio fundamentals with emphasis on practical tools and techniques used in computer games industry.
