CCIT Advisory Board Meeting

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdelghaffar Ismail Farag, an advisory board meeting was held for the first quarter of 2024 for the Faculty of Computers and Information Technology in Sheraton on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at 7:00 PM at Triumph Katameya Heights Hotel.

The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information Technology in Cairo, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abu Rizka, and the former deans of the college, Prof. Dr. Mostafa Abdelazim and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Hegazy. The esteemed members of the advisory board included Dr. Alaa Fahmy, former Minister of Transport, Dr. Ahmed Abdelhafiz, Deputy Chairman of the National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA), Engineer Jamal Shnouda, CEO of HITS Solutions, Engineer Majed Mahmoud, Deputy CEO of Dell EMC, Engineer Alaa Saad, CEO of ARIA Technologies, and Prof. Dr. Nevine Makram, Head of the Digital Transformation Committee at the National Planning Institute.

The college also had the honor of inviting a group of industry leaders, Dr. Ahmed Fahmy, General Manager of the Administrative Capital Company, Dr. Mohamed Al-Hammahmi, Chief Expert at the Center of Experts at NTRA, Engineer Ahmed Shaarawi of IP Protocol, Engineer Amjad Yassin, Senior Consulting Engineer at IP Protocol, and Engineer Ahmed Abdelazim, responsible for cybersecurity training at IP Protocol, along with representatives of the college students.

All attendees praised the college's achievements during the past period, noting a significant increase in the number of students at the college. They emphasized the importance of enhancing the industry's role in the educational process. And emphasizing the importance of preparing young talents, students of computers and information, to keep up with the industry's development.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abu Rizka praised the role of the National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority in establishing the Cybersecurity Department and the professional diploma in cybersecurity at the Faculty of Computers in Cairo.
