Photography Course

The course aims at educating all learners in basic and intermediate photographic skills by focusing on the impact of technology in the Photography industry and the breadth of skills needed by learners to maintain and increase marketability. During the course, learners develop their creative style and visual problem-solving skills while engaging in specialized market areas. Through five weeks of thirty hours of practical training, learners use contemporary photographic tools and asset management software, collaborate to accomplish professional goals, develop effective marketing programs and apply creative and sophisticated visual solutions to the challenges of producing visual media. In addition, learners integrate multiple images together to illustrate a concept by using image manipulation techniques, processing and managing images, employing tools and menus and managing and archiving digital image files on external sources.
