College won a Tempus Project in Clean Energy (2/9/2011)

With a consortium of European and Egyptian unversities and authorities, the college won a tempus project in clean energy and research inenvironmental studies. The project aims to establish a master program with an engineering degree in the fields of energy and environmental management which leads to provide the labor sector of qualified engineers in the aforementioned fields.Also, to Provide especially-tailored courses for engineers working in the energy sector.The consortium includes: University OF Oviedo(Spain), University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy (Bulgaria), Staffordshire University (UK) , Arab Academy for Science and Technology (AAST), Nile University, Helwan University, Ain Shames University, New and Renewable Energy Authority (NREA) ,6th of October Investors' Association (OIA), Compostela Group of Universities (Spain). The AASTMT team is lead by Dr. Mohamed Fahmy Shehada, Associate Professor, College of Engineering.
