Barge Supervisor - MOU

Aims & Objectives:

T The course is conducted in accordance to the requirements of sec. 6.3 of IMO Res. A.891 (21).

 This course has been specifically designed to provide delegates with the knowledge and skills required to take role as a Barge Supervisor or Barge Captain.

Contents:

  • Rig orientation.
  • Stability and construction.
  • Emergency duties and communications.
  • Transit operations.
  • Seamanship.
  • Handling and stowage of supplies, including dangerous goods.
  • Safe working practices.
  • Regulatory and certification requirements.
  • Emergency first aid
  • Anchor handling.

Who Should Attend:

This course should be attended by Barge supervisor assistance and any new member planning to be a barge supervisor.

       5 Days
