Academic Standing in AAGSB - Academic Advising

The academic advisor will guide the students and provide them with the needed information regarding offered courses, semester load and candidate courses for improvement in case a student is subject to academic probation.

Credit Transfer:

  1. The AAGSB Academic Committee may approve, on a case by case basis, credits earned at accredited universities provided that the credit of the transferred course is ‘Good’ or (B) as a minimum. The transferred grade will be registered in the student’s record as part of degree requirements but it will not enter into the calculation of his/her GPA.
  2. The AAGSB Academic Committee approves, on a case by case basis, credits earned at universities with which AAGSB has cooperation agreements provided that the grade of the transferred course is ‘Good’ or (B) as a minimum and the total number of transferred credits is less than 50% of credit requirements of the designated program. The transferred grades will be registered in the student’s record as part of degree requirements and will enter into the calculation of his/her GPA.
  3. All transferred credits are subject to final approval by the AAGSB Dean.
