- State of the art wet laboratories, dry laboratories, and simulation laboratories are employed to expose the student to a hands-on learning approach and infuse a culture of research, inquiry, and self-learning at an early level.
- The program offers three structured experiential learning rotations designed as formal courses with a significant credit weight, during which the students are followed by continuous assessment from assigned preceptors. These rotations culminate in rigorous evaluation designed as per the recommendations of international authorities on pharmacy education. In these rotations, students develop the targeted competencies in a real practice setting.  
- The program is the first pharmacy program in Egypt to employ inter-professional learning. The third experiential learning rotation is designed to involve a collaborative learning module between pharmacists and other members of the healthcare team. This module is intended to set an early foundation for efficient communication and collaboration between the different members of the healthcare team.

The AASTMT library collection will soon be able to fully support the Pharmacy Program and will range from recently published textbooks and current issues of relevant scientific journals as well as a great electronic collection at the electronic library.
