This is the "fourth" and last level of four levels that is offered to Science teachers with little or no experience in teaching Science in English. The certificate enhances their ability to formulate scientific concepts in English and give clear presentations on such topics to a specialized or non-specialized audience. Learners are assessed at the end of each level throughout oral and written exams. The final grade in each course is based on learners’ performance on continual assessment measures and the final test.
Final course grades are NOT based on attendance.
Along with the objectives of the previous three levels, this level aims to:
· Reach a proficient level of writing a complete lesson plan
· Familiarize students with the English statements and terms used to express the concepts of all the lessons assigned to the seniors’ stage
· Provide a framework for assisting learners to take learning styles into consideration when planning classroom tasks and activities as well as assessment concepts, forms, and rubrics assigned to the seniors'' stage that are instrumental to learners’ motivation and achievement.
It is mainly designed to prepare college students who want to teach Science in English
Or to Science teachers targeting to improve themselves with a higher level of education.
