Objective 4: Spreading the culture of creativity and Entrepreneurship among academic staff and students

Strategies

 

a) The presence of a documented and announced plan that includes seminars and activities to raise awareness of concepts of entrepreneurship and shedding light on success stories within that framework.

b) Setting a documented and announced plan that includes seminars and activities to raise awareness and shed light on success stories and hosting famous models to motivate the students

c) Establishing an office for counseling and supporting students&rsquo abilities to create and complete feasible start up projects and giving priority to establish/set technological companies and providing enough resources to keep/maintain.

d) Encouraging the registration of patents and setting a regulation that govern the relationship between the patentee and the Academy

e) Setting a mechanism to open channels of communication with governmental bodies to solve problems through joint projects.

f) Cooperating with businessmen to identify research and academic fields and making sure they participate in college councils.

g) Providing permanent headquarters for large companies inside the Academy to attract students and their projects to solve the problems facing companies and relate scientific research to industry.

h) establishing/setting up scientific incubations across the Academy to finance new projects and provide the supportive atmosphere to entrepreneurship in the Academy&rsquos students new projects financially and marketing wise.

i) Participating, along with corporations supporting micro-projects, to train the beneficiaries on principles of administration and entrepreneurship.

 

Performance indicators

 

a) research projects and creative ideas developed and executed through the cooperation with companies representatives within the program of rue de entrepreneurs

b) projects financed and marketed within the program of entrepreneurs through scientific incubations across the Academy

c) projects the counseling office studied and provided counseling for within the program of start ups

d) patents registered annually

 

Success indicators

a) Increase in the number of projects and creative ideas developed and executed annually

b) Increase in the number of projects financed and marketed within the program of entrepreneurship for the Academy&rsquos graduates

c) Increase in the patents registered annually by the academic staff and the Academy&rsquos students
