“AASTMT Arab Institute for Leadership Development - UN Population Fund in Egypt” Workshop

The Arab Institute for Leadership Development “AILD” of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in co-operation with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports held a workshop on polling the opinion of youth in Aswan Governorate on the draft of the strategic plan, within the implementation of the second phase in preparing the National Youth Strategy for Egypt (2021-2026), under the leadership of the Minister of Youth and Sports.
"AILD" and "UNFPA" Workshop was held in the presence of Dr. Tamer Abdel Azim, and Dr. Ahmed Saeed - General Directors of the Technical Office of the Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Moustafa Magdy - Coordinator of Strategy Preparation, Prof. Dr. Hanan Jouda - Dean of AASTMT Arab Institute for Leadership Development “AILD” - General Supervisor of Strategy Preparation, Dr. Menna Salem - AILD International Relations Officer - Workshop Coordinator, and Dr. Iman Nagem - Head of the Graduate Studies Department at AASTMT Arab Institute for Leadership Development “AILD”, in addition to the participation of young people from school and university students and graduates from different disciplines, as well as H.E Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports who participated through a telephone intervention, as to encourage the youth for their active participation in the activities of the workshop.
It’s worth to mention that this workshop was devoted to Upper Egypt youth as for their priority in the 2030 Sustainable Development Plan, noting that the workshops of Cairo, Alexandria and Port Said youth will be completed within the next three months.
