The launch of the African Arab Programming Championship in Luxor 2021
The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport organized the activities of the African Arab Software Championship competition, which was held in Luxor, in the presence of Major General Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, and Dr. Mohamed Mahjoub, President of Luxor University. The tournament includes 12 Arab and African countries with a group of 150 teams representing 60 universities Among the most prominent participating countries are Egypt, Kuwait, Jordan, Syria, Tunisia, Lebanon, and other African and Arab countries.
The winning teams will qualify to participate in the international software competition, which will be hosted this year in the Russian capital, Moscow, with the participation of more than 25,000 contestants, representing 2,300 universities from around the world.
During the tournament, students were divided into three teams, "red, blue and yellow", and at the start of the tournament, the guests inspected the students, amid a package of precautionary and preventive measures to protect against the Coronavirus.
The events were attended by Dr. Yousry El-Gamal, the former Minister of Education, Dr. Osama Ismail, the Academy’s advisor, Dr. Tariq Barakat, the Academy’s advisor in the Academy’s branch in Syria, Tariq Fahim, the Endure Company’s director, Ahmed Makki, a managing director of Bina’s company, and Dr Attallah Hashad, head of the Academy’s southern branch. the valley.
