Kick-off of the Egyptian two pilot actions- Training on truck and reach stacker/ forklift simulators and port cargo handling (gantry crane) simulators in Egypt

AAST Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport Techlog Project Egyptian partner, in cooperation with CEEBA - Confederation of Egyptian European Business Associations AND Alex Chamber of Commerce announce the - Kick-off of the Egyptian two pilot actions- Training on truck and reach stacker/ forklift simulators and port cargo handling (gantry crane) simulators in Egypt

Safety pilot area is adopted according to the market need throughout the innovation training for truck drivers, port craners and reach stacker/ forklift operators using state-of-the-art simulators at the TECHLOG Eastern Living Lab established at AASTMT premises in #alexandria_egypt

The main objective of the 1st pilot action training is to introduce companies’ fleets of truck drivers to road safety awareness, practice safe driving through the innovative simulators, and enhance drivers’ sensitivity, road safety, and environmental conditions and requirements.

The 2nd pilot action focuses on the safe performance of port gantry crane operators in a productive and Eco-friendly manner Performance will be measured before training and again after to highlight performance improvement and areas for improvement.

The two pilot actions will be implemented over a period of 8-9 weeks starting Sunday 8th October, each training program lasts for 1 week focusing mainly on improving safety performance.
