The World Modern Pentathlon Championship "Closing Ceremony"
Within the fruitful cooperation between the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) and the Egyptian Ministry of Youth And Sports, as for AASTMT efforts in sponsoring sports and athletes to achieve AASTMT leading and outstanding role, AASTMT had hosted the Modern Pentathlon Championship during the period from 24 - 31 July 2022 at AASTMT AbuKir Campus, with the participation of 43 countries around the world.
as it`s worth to mention that the World Modern Pentathlon Championship "Press Conference" was held on Monday 27- 7- 2022, at AASTMT AbuKir Campus, in the presence of H.E Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sobhy - Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports via Zoom technology, and H.E Dr. Klaus Schuermann - President of the International Modern Pentathlon Federation, H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail - AASTMT President, H.E Eng. Sharif Elerian - Vice-President of UIPM and President of the Egyptian Modern Pentathlon Federation (EMPF), H.E Mr. Martin Dow - Director of Marketing of the International Federation, H.E Mr. Awad Samy - Member of the Board of Directors of the Federation and a member of the Coaches Committee of the International Federation, H.E Mr. Yasser Hafny - Chairman of Players Committee of the International Federation, and H.E Dr. Safaa Al Sharif - Undersecretary of the Ministry and Director of the Directorate of Youth and Sports in Alexandria.
In this regard, the Egyptian Federation of Modern Pentathlon is extending sincere thanks, appreciation and gratitude to H.E AASTMT President, and H.E AASTMT Officials for their efforts before, during and after the tournament`s activities, as for achieving a honorable appearance that befits Egypt in front of the whole world, where all the participated delegations and the International Federation praised the hosting of the World Modern Pentathlon Championship at AASTMT.
