AASTMT President Participation in "Sixth China-Arab States Expo"
H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag – President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) participated in the opening ceremony of the Sixth China-Arab States Expo that was held during the period from 21 - 24 September 2023, in Yinchuan, the capital of Northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The 6th China-Arab States Expo was held under the auspices of China Ministry of Commerce, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and the League of Arab States (LAS).
It is worth to mention that during the participation activities which represents another economic and trade cooperation between China and the Arab countries, AASTMT President preaent his speech on the importance of scientific and technological cooperation, in the presence of a high-level presence of ministerial-level participants from China and many Arab countries in the field of Science and Technology.
On the sidelines of the conference, AASTMT President signed an agreement of cooperation between AASTMT and Ningxia Medical University, as well as His Excellency signed a renewal of the cooperation agreement between AASTMT and China-Arab States Technology Transfer Center (CASTTC) affiliated with the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China (MOST). As His Excellency met the President of the Northwest Institute of Eco-Environment and Resources (NIEER) to discuss the methods of cooperation, in addition to the meeting with Ningxia Medical University delegation as keeping on the agreement to provide distinguished education in accordance with the highest international standards including students as well as academic staff members on both the Arab and Chinese sides.
