"Fourth China-Arab States BDS Cooperation Forum"
Within the fruitful co-operation between the Arab countries and the People's Republic of China, the “Fourth China-Arab States BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) Cooperation Forum" activities had been started on Wednesday 25- 10- 2023, at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) - AbuKir Campus in Alexandria. The forum is an opportunity to connect public and private sectors from the Arab world and worldwide in the Satellite Navigation field.
The opening session was held in the presence of H.E. Mr. Al-Majidi - Tunisian Minister of Transport, H.E. Mr. Mohamed Ali Ould Sidi Mohamed - Minister of Equipment and Transport of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, H.E. Mr. Abdel Salam Saleh - Minister of Transport of the Republic of Yemen, H.E. Ambassador Dr. Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Maliki - Assistant Secretary-General, Head of the Economic Affairs Sector, on behalf of His Excellency the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States (LAS), H.E. Eng. Mohammed Ben Amor - Director General of the Arab Information and Communications Technologies Organization (AICTO), H.E. Minister Plenipotentiary/ Zhang Zunning - Minister Plenipotentiary of the Embassy of the Republic of China Popular, H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President, His Excellency Mr. Xu Bin - Deputy Director of the Innovation-Driven Development Center of the National Development and Development Committee of the People's Republic of China, in addition to the representatives of Arab countries and LAS delegation, Heads and Directors of specialized Arab organizations, and representatives of Chinese and Arab institutions, academics, and companies.
