70 Emerging Agricultural Companies in "Tanmeya Wa Tatweer" Incubator

The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport celebrated the graduation of 70 emerging agricultural companies from the Development and Innovation Incubators for Agricultural Businesses in Upper Egypt and the New Valley. These incubators are implemented by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Center at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Hanan Magdy, Deputy Governor of the New Valley, Brigadier General A.H. Sherif Ahmed Saleh, President of the Upper Egypt Development Authority, and Mr. Alaa Farouk, Chairman of the Egyptian Agricultural Bank.

The event took place under the auspices of Dr. Mahmoud Saqr, President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, and in the presence of Dr. Ismail Abdelghaffar Farag, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, along with representatives from the African Development Bank, Mrs. Jehan El-Sukkari, and Mr. Samuel Kamara.

The "Development and Innovation" project, implemented by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology with the support of the Danish-Arab Partnership Program through the African Development Bank, aims to support entrepreneurship and encourage innovation in Upper Egypt and the New Valley. The agricultural business incubator is one of its important programs aimed at promoting innovation and supporting startups in the geographical scope of the governorates of Fayoum, Beni Suef, Minya, Assiut, Sohag, Qena, Luxor, Aswan, in addition to the incubator in the New Valley Governorate
