The Smart Village branch of the Academy hosts the regular 50th session of the Higher Coordination Committee for Arab Joint Work
The meetings of the High Coordination Committee for Arab Joint Work, in its 50th regular session, began today, Tuesday, at the Smart Village branch of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. The meetings are chaired by the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, and attended by heads and directors of specialized Arab organizations, quality Arab federations, and Arab financial institutions.
Commissioner Minister Mohamed Khair Abdel Qader, Director of the Arab Organizations and Federations Department, stated that the aim of the High Coordination Committee for Arab Joint Work, under the leadership of the Secretary-General, is to enhance cooperation, coordination, and exchange of expertise between the Arab League and Arab joint work institutions, in order to increase the effectiveness of Arab joint work and avoid duplication.
Meanwhile, Ambassador Kamal Hassan Ali, Secretary-General of Economic Affairs at the Arab League, conducted an inspection tour at the branch, accompanied by Professor Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, President of the Academy. During the tour, the Assistant Secretary-General familiarized himself with the capabilities of the branch and visited the public laboratories and facilities, which received praise
