On Tuesday, 28th of February 2023, the College of Engineering and Technology at Smart Village Campus held an extraordinarily successful Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) meeting headed by Prof. Ismail Abdel Ghafar (President of the AASTMT) and Prof. Mona Fouad (Academic Dean and Dean of Engineering and Technology - Smart Village Campus) in the presence of Dr. Sherif Hadara (Former Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources) and Dr. Mohamed Salem (Former Minister of Communications and Information Technology).

Our IAB consists of diverse senior industry experts who guide academic programs to ensure that they stay relevant and up-to-date with global industry trends and demands.

During the meeting, numerous topics were discussed, including the latest advancements in engineering and technology, new industry standards, and the skills and competencies our students need to succeed in the workforce.

During the meeting, our vice deans, Prof. Moutaz Hegazy, Prof. Sameh Mahfouz, Prof. Saleh Eisa, and Prof. Mahmoud Alwadi, as well as Dr. Nancy Abdel-moniem, the Assistant Dean, and the head of departments, Prof. Suzette Michel, Prof. Yasser Elshaer, Prof. Mohamed Abaza, Prof. Adel Elrafaie, Prof. Hatem Diab, and Dr. Salama Fayed, demonstrated their commitment to maintaining strong ties with the industry.

Overall, it was a fantastic opportunity for everyone involved to network, share knowledge, and identify new opportunities for collaboration.
