President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport received the Consul General of China in Alexandria and they discussed the ways of cooperation.
Jiao Lee Ying the Consul General of China in Alexandria, visited the headquarters of the Arab Academy for Science and Technology in Abu Qir on Wednesday, April 10, where she was received by Prof. Ismail Abdul Ghaffar Ismail Faraj, the president of the Academy.
At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar presented a brief description about the excellence of the Academy and its uniqueness in the programs, the specializations that it presents, the implemented projects , and the students activities that they worked on it and they launched with various partners in major universities, institutes and research centers around the world.
The two sides reviewed the aspects of cooperation that can serve the education and research processes for both countries.
The President of the Academy Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar expressed the importance of scientific and training exchange between the students of the Academy and the universities and research centers in China.
He also stressed the keenness of the Academy to open the doors in front of the cooperation with Chinese universities through exchange programs, and the increasing the number of Chinese students and launching Chinese language programs in the Academy and Arabic language at the universities in China.
