Prof. Dr. Hanan Youssef wins the gold medal for her outstanding academic role
Students from the Faculty of Language and Media at Smart Village were selected to participate in organizing the Seventh Arab Festival for Writers and Media Professionals, which was held on October 17 in the Naguib Mahfouz Hall of Al-Ahram newspaper to honor Arab and Egyptian creators, in the presence of an elite group of media figures and creators, including the president of the Egyptian Association for Writers and Young Media Professionals, journalist Safwat Muhammad, and the media festival’s president, Mervat Farrag. Professor Dr. Hanan Youssef, Dean of the College of Language and Media, Smart Village.
9 Arab innovators and 28 Egyptians were awarded the gold medal, including Professor Dr. Hanan Youssef, Professor of Media, Dean of the Faculty of Language and Media at Smart Village, and President of the Arab Organization for Dialogue, in appreciation for her establishment and Deanship of the Academy’s Media.
Journalist Safwat Mohamed, President of the Egyptian Association of Young Writers and Media Professionals, said about honoring Professor Dr. Hanan Youssef, “A great and influential role was played by Dr. Hanan Youssef, Professor of Mass Communication at Ain Shams University. She founded the Faculty of Language and Media in the Smart Village, and also contributed to the preparation and presentation of many programs.” Television and multiple roles in the community movement, so we honor her with gold.”
