Visit From the Students of college of Pharmacy in the New Alamein branch
To foster collaboration between the College of Pharmacy in Abu Qir and the New Alamein branch, final-year students from the New Alamein branch visited the mini-pharmaceutical factory at the Abu Qir campus as part of their Pharmaceutical Technology course.
Under the guidance of Dr. Passent Ehab, Head of the Departments of Pharmaceutical and Chemical Sciences, Chemist Nagat Desouqy, and Dr. Noha Khalifa, Lecturer of Industrial Pharmacy, the students gained hands-on experience in tablet preparation using a single punch tablet press machine and a dry granulator. They also prepared granules for paracetamol tablets using an Oscillating Wet Granulator device.
Additionally, the students received training in using an infrared moisture balance device to measure humidity levels.
