Visit of the Arab Academy delegation to Qatar University
Within the framework of the directives of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, to support scientific and research cooperation relations with Qatar University in the State of Qatar, a high-level delegation from the Academy made an inspection visit to the faculties of law, pharmacy and engineering at Qatar University on Sunday, the 25th. February 2024. The delegation met with the deans of the colleges and the centers of responsibility in these colleges. During the various meetings, the prospects for scientific and research cooperation between the Academy and Qatar University in the fields of artificial intelligence, pharmacy, and law were discussed. On the sidelines of the inspection visit to Qatar University, a joint symposium was organized between the Academy and the colleges of law and engineering at Qatar University on the most important recent trends in the fields of artificial intelligence applications, the role of the College of Artificial Intelligence at the Academy as one of the leading colleges in the fields of artificial intelligence in the Arab region, and the most important prospects for joint scientific and research cooperation in applications. Artificial Intelligence, in the presence of a distinguished group of professors of artificial intelligence, engineering and law at Qatar University.
A high-level delegation from the Academy participated in these various activities, consisting of Professors Dr. Ali Fahmy, Dean of the College of Artificial Intelligence, Amira Senbel, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, and Professor Dr. Mustafa Rashid, Assistant President of the Academy for Arab Affairs.
