Inauguration of AASTMT El Alamein College of Pharmacy Central Laboratory
The Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) inaugurated the central laboratory of AASTMT El Alamein campus College of Pharmacy on Monday 24- 3- 2024 in the presence of H.E. Prof. Dr Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag – AASTMT President, H.E. Major General Khaled Shuaib - Governor of Matrouh, and H.E. Dr. Sherine Hassan Abbas Helmy - CEO of Pharco Pharmaceuticals Group, in addition to AASTMT Officials.
The laboratory was established as a partnership between Pharco Pharmaceuticals, as the first institutional group in the pharmaceutical industry in Egypt, and AASTMT as a leading educational institution in Egypt. The laboratory was founded as a collaboration between an industrial and educational organization, and it is considered as the first laboratory at the level of pharmacy colleges in Egypt that was built to perform pharmaceutical analyses of pharmaceutical preparations and raw materials of all Egyptian drug manufacturing companies.
It’s worth to mention that AASTMT held an honorary session in remembrance of the late Dr. Abbas Helmy - Founder of Pharco Pharmaceuticals, and in recognition of his service to his nation and his contributions to the advancement of society and education.
