Funding and Duration:
Three years duration starting from October, 2011 till October, 2014 .
Project funding is 850,000 Euros = 6.8 million EGP where it&rsquos AASTMT portion is 240,000 &euro = 1.9 million EGP.
Prospective development:
1)    Internal and external training courses for faculty members.
2)    Establishment of Renewable Energy lab by 130,000 &euro = 1.1 million EGP in AAST which the first Tidal and Wave Energy lab in Egypt and the Middle East.
3)    Double Masters degree program between AAST and Staffordshire University-UK in Renewable energy.
4)    Preparation of 30 new master courses.
CERES project outcomes to AASTMT
The impact and the benefit of the CERES project to AASTMT is including:
1.    Development the links between AASTMT and Egyptian/International Universities along with the community/industry.
2.    Development of academic staff (e.g. national/international courses, postgraduates, and lab facilities which support applied research activities in field of renewable energy
3.    Double degree between AASTMT, Staffordshire Uni.
4.    Establishment the first wave and tidal Energy lab (800,000EGP) in Egypt and Middle East.
