New Research Project from PRIMA For AASTMT

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) received a new research project from PRIMA (Partnership of Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area) funded by the European Commission that entitled (Trace & Trust Hubs for MED food), for a period of three years starting from January 2020 to December 2022.
It`s worth to mention that the project will focus on Mediterranean food products as key points in the reform of tracing and authenticity procedures of traditional Mediterranean foods, adding value to high quality food products by providing documented traceability of the whole “seed-to-shelf” supply chain, through proofs of authenticity for final products and ingredients and including detailed information on the nutritional profile of the product, and that will be held in cooperation with "Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) - Greece", "Green Project SA (GP) - Greece", "University of Patras (UoP) - Greece", "Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) - Egypt", "Jordan University of Science & Technology (JUST) - Jordan", "INOV INESC Inovação (INOV) - Portugal", "Higher School of Engineers of Medjez El Bab (ESIM) - Tunisia", "TECNOALIMENTI S.C.p.A. (TCA) - Italy", "Engineering (ENG) - Italy", "Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) - Spain".
