Egyptian Firms’ Location Preferences for Logistics Hubs: Focus on the Southeast African Region
The distribution role within the logistics system has a vital function as it now plays a major part in the success of many different operations within the organisations’ supply chains. This paper aims to present the major factors that Egyptian firms consider important when they decide the locations of their Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs), and to identify the gaps that the Egyptian government must fill to increase the Egyptian exports to the region in order to achieve its pronounced goal of building a successful regional logistics hub.
