Academic Master of Business Administration

This MBA only applies to Business Administration bachelor degree holders and their peers from other business sections in light of the following regulations:

Business graduates with Business Administration Bachelor Degree:

First Semester: (12 Credit Hours)

1. Organization Behavior and Development
2. Marketing Management
3. Managerial Finance
4. Operations Management
   

Second Semester: (12 Credit Hours)

Four courses from any specialization track

Third Semester: (6 Credit Hours)

1. Research and Business Reporting
2. Strategic Management

Thesis: (24 credit hours)

The thesis should be completed in not less than one academic year.

Commerce graduates with specializations other than Business Administration such as accounting, economics, etc.:

The degree consists of 12 additional courses that the student should pass within three semesters before the thesis stage.

First Semester: (12 Credit Hours)

The student should finish the Deficiency Courses taken from the undergraduate degree at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology. The Academic Council will specify these courses ad-hoc on a case by case basis. This will equal the applicant’s bachelor degree with the Business Administration bachelor degree.

Third Semester: (12 Credit Hours)

Four courses from any specialization track

Third Semester: (6 Credit Hours)

Upon approving the ‘Thesis Declaration Request’ from the School Academic Council, the student will be directed to start the Reading Phase and conclude his/her thesis proposal during the second half of the semester.

Thesis: (24 credit hours)

The thesis should be completed in not less than one academic year.
