Ms. El-Husseiny earned her MA degree in Education from the School of Education of Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK, and is presently enrolled at a PhD programme at the same university. She has been an ESP (English for Specific Purposes) lecturer at AAST since 1996, and currently teaches at the College of Maritime Transport. She has taught a variety of ESP courses including English for Business, English for Hotels and Tourism, in addition to Maritime English. She has also participated in preparing teaching material for these different specializations and taken part in various types of assessment both written and oral, in addition to assuming the position of course coordinator for the mentioned courses. Ms. El-Husseiny also worked as an English language instructor at several places at the AAST, including the Centre for Adult and Continued Education (CACE) and the Port Training Institute.
