Biography

  • Marwa Adel Abuel Wafa is a Lecturer of Linguistics at the Department of Language and Translation, College of Language and Communication (CLC), Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. She graduated from the English Department, Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University, in 2004. She obtained her Applied Linguistics Diploma in 2008, an MA degree in applied linguistics in 2013 and a PhD degree in language engineering in 2017. She has participated and presented in a number of conferences. She holds the post of Head of the Languages Department at the CLC. She has interest in the research areas of language engineering, corpus based studies, stylistics, applied linguistics, multimodality and conversation analysis.
