Responsibilities • Currently, Captain Abdelkhalik is the Senior Lecturer of the terrestrial navigation 3 courses at the College of Maritime Transport & Technology " CMTT", Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport “AASTMT”, in addition, he is a Senior Lecturer at the MTT, Navigation Department, he is responsible for teaching terrestrial navigation 1-2-3 also terrestrial navigation for 2nd mate, and Search & Rescue courses. Capt. Abdelkhalik has a strong technical background and over 28 years of experience in the maritime field. Due to his solid administrating and managerial skills, he was selected to be a coordinator of terrestrial navigation 2& 3-course Courses, in this position he ensured that all technical and administrative aspects were performed in a fully professional, transparent, and ethical manner, and in line with the AASTMT regulations. • 1995 – 2007: instructor, in Saudi Arabia Coast Guard Institute responsible for modernization and development of Navigation and Search& Rescue, terrestrial navigation, marine safety, and watch-keeping courses. • 1988 – 1994: Merchant Marine officer on Egyptian and foreign commercial ships.
