biography

Professor Aliaa A. A.Youssif, is the dean of College of Computing and Information Technology, Smart Village, AASTMT. She received her B.Sc and MSc. degree in telecommunications and electronics engineering from Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt. Prof. A. Youssif received the PhD degree in computer science from Helwan University in 2000. She was a visiting professor at School of Engineering and Applied Science, George Washington University, USA ( 2005). She was also a visiting professor at Cardiff University, Wales, UK, (2008), International Telematic University UNINETTUNO, Rome, Italy(2012) and Cardiff Met. University (2017,2018,2019) She shared in many funded projects with European Union and USA. Her fields of interest include pattern recognition, AI researches and multimedia. She published more than 100 papers in different fields.
