5 Years Passed.. A Lot More To Come

We’re hosting a festival to celebrate completing a chapter of our journey and starting a new one.The festival is held under the auspices of the League of Arab States, in the presence of respected Egyptian Ministers, diverse esteemed ambassadors and delegates of the entrepreneurship ecosystem, investors, startup owners, innovators, policy makers, and community partners are also invited.The festival will focus on the following activities:

• The awarding ceremony of  “Egypt Entrepreneurship Rally Competition 2020”  that is organized by the AAST Entrepreneurship Center with the National Bank of Egypt as its strategic partner. This competition is considered as one of the main programs that target youth, and help them develop innovative startup ideas from an early stage. The finalists of more than 10 universities and 5 different sectors will compete in the final round for a chance to win a total of 900,000EGP cash awards.
• The “Demo Day” will feature graduating startups of 2 more programs from the AAST Entrepreneurship Center: The Supply Chain and Logistics Incubator – the first incubator of its kind in the MENA region -  and the AAST Youth Incubator. The “Demo Day” is a chance for the graduating startups to pitch their ideas and demonstrate their development during their incubation cycle for a chance to get financial investment and other opportunities.
• The festival will include panel discussions, motivational speakers, entrepreneurship-related activities, startup exhibition for more than 80 startups, and workshops related to entrepreneurship and startup development.

Our Startup Festival will take place by the Red Sea in the beautiful city of Sharm El-Sheikh where we''ll have a 2-day festive experience with business & fun activities.
