This is the "first" level of four levels that is offered to Science teachers with little or no experience in teaching Science in English.
The certificate enhances their ability to formulate scientific concepts in English and give clear presentations on such topics to a specialized or non-specialized audience.
Learners are assessed at the end of each level throughout oral and written exams.
The final grade in each course is based on learners’ performance on continual assessment measures and the final test.
Final course grades are NOT based on attendance.
This Course aims to:
· Familiarize the students with the English statements and terms used to express the concepts of all the lessons assigned to the lower junior''s stage
· Develop students'' skills in Lesson planning, activities that assist in teaching Science to the Lower Junior''s stage
· Develop students'' abilities in using additional resources for teaching Science in English
· Familiarize the students with using different teaching methodologies for specialized content, and how to master various assessments and testing methods to measure learners’ achievement.

Or to Science teachers targeting to improve themselves with a higher level of education.
