AASTMT President Participates in The 1st Annual Celebration of Nuclear Energy

Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) interest to preserve the gains it has achieved and its status at all levels, local, Arab and international, to keep up with the modern changes and to achieve excellence and the ability to meet the requirements of development, H.E Prof. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President participated in the first annual celebration of the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy, represented by the Nuclear Power Plants Authority (NPPA) for Nuclear Power Generation that is held under the patronage of H.E President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi - President of the Arab Republic of Egypt and Chairman of the Supreme Council for the Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy, on Monday 22- 11- 2021, at Al Manara International Conferences Center in New Cairo.
The celebration was held in the presence of H.E Dr. Mostafa Madbouly - Prime Minister of Egypt, H.E Dr. Mohamed Shaker - Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, a group of leaders and nuclear energy experts.
It is worth mentioning that the NPPA for Nuclear Power Generation seeks to establish a peaceful Egyptian nuclear program that serves the Egyptian development, which comes in line with the signing of the governmental agreement between Egypt and Russia on 19- 11- 2015 to establish the first Egyptian nuclear plant in El Dabaa.
