On Monday, March 5, 2024, the 82st session of the Board of Directors meeting between Port Training Institute and Sea Ports Corporation, Sudan was held. The meeting was attended by His Excellency Professor. Ismail Abd El Gaffar Ismail Farag, President ,AASTMT and Chairman of the Executive Committee of Port Training Institute, as well as His Excellency Captain Mohamed Hassan Mukhtar, the General Manger of Sea Ports Corporation, Sudan, Professor. Alaa Mahmoud Marcy, Dean of Port Training Institute, and several senior officials..
During the meeting, various matters of mutual interest were discussed with the aim of resuming cooperation and partnership in the areas of training and education. The meeting also included a review of the institute's achievements in qualifying, training, and enhancing the skills of the human workforce in Egyptian, African, and Arab ports, particularly the ports of Republic of Sudan, in line with global quality standards. These achievements have had a significant impact on the development of the human resources in the Sudanese Maritime Ports Authority.
At the end of the meeting, recommendations were signed to activate and resume training activities in the upcoming period
