CLC hosted the scriptwriter Medhat El-Adl in an open discussion with students
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abeer Refky, Dean of College of Language & Communication in Alexandria, and the supervision of Dr. Bassant Mohamed Attia, Head of Media Department, CLC hosted the scriptwriter Medhat El-Adl in an open discussion with students about developing writing skills for film & television.
At the beginning of the seminar, "Al-Adl" expressed how happy he was to be with the students, and encouraged them to discover their talents. He also discussed the steps of scriptwriting, starting with coming up with a new different idea, creating and drawing the features of the characters in cinema and drama. In addition to choosing the most appropriate places, decorations, and actors to embody the personalities of the artwork, giving examples from some of his works, such as the series “Haret Al Yahoud, Li A’la Se’r, Foe Mostawa Al Shobouhat”.
He went on to give some advice to the students about acting workshops and how to continually preserve and develop their talent.
He also talked about his upcoming work, announcing a new part of the movie "Saidi Fel Gamaa Al Amrikeya 2”.
He also recited some of his poems, such as "Al Dictator" & "Farda Shemal" from his divan "Fawda El Masha`er" which he has given copies to students & staff.
At the end of the Seminar, "Al Adl" was honored, by the dean of the college appreciating his presence with the AAST shield, in the presence of the college`s vice deans, heads of departments, and a number of faculty members who made sure to take a picture with him for the memory.
